Who I am

Brendon Connors
Artist | Creative Enthusiast | Pediatric Home-Healthcare Nurse

Hello, and welcome! My name is Brendon Connors, a 34-year-old artist based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Although I now call this beautiful state home, I originally hail from Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, where I spent the first 18 years of my life.

While my professional career has been in healthcare—working as a pediatric home healthcare nurse for nearly a decade—art and creating has always been a constant and deeply cherished part of my life. From a young age, I was drawn to creativity, particularly through drawing and sketching. My passion for art was always present, even as I pursued a different path, earning my nursing degree from Marian University in Fond du Lac after transferring from University of Oshkosh.

However, art never left my side. About seven years ago, I made a conscious decision to reignite my creative passions and set a personal resolution to be more artistic. I began exploring new mediums, starting with acrylic painting, a medium I had only briefly encountered in high school art classes. Since then, my journey as an artist has been both fulfilling and transformative. I have created over 50+ acrylic paintings, 30+ pen sketches, and 40+ pyrography pieces, each reflecting my growing commitment to the craft.

For me, art is more than just a hobby—it's a vital part of my well-being and happiness. In a world that often feels dominated by distractions and consumerism, I believe it is essential to carve out space for creativity, self-expression, and connection with both nature and our own inner creativity. My intention is to continue learning, expanding into new artistic practices such as flow arts, videography, and more, while integrating creativity into every facet of my life.

The creation of this website marks an exciting step in my artistic journey. It serves as both a gallery and a platform to share my work with others. Through this space, I hope to not only showcase my art but also to offer it for sale to those who connect with it.

I invite you to explore my website, view my work, and learn more about the inspiration behind each piece. Thank you for taking the time to visit, and I look forward to sharing my art with you!

Warm regards,
Brendon Connors
